In other news, I attended my first pirate festival this weekend in Mediera Beach. It was exciting. Lots of real, authentic pirates. I even brought my dog, Jazz. It was her first vacation and she was the best scurvy dog there. Most of my crew ended up leaving before we could even get to the festival because the Captain fell ill, but they were able to return Sunday night for the VIP party. A pirate festival just isn't the same without your whole crew, ya dig? Anyway, I can't wait until the next one in September.
I'll be moving at the end of this month. It's in town, but it still sucks balls because of the whole packing and unpacking thing. I can't help but be excited because I'll be leaving this house full of memories. Memories I can't take any more of.
On a lighter note, things are looking up and I'm finally feeling clear.
I am in this club
These clubs are dead, and that pisses me off:

why do american pet seller only sell male rats??
Sometimes u american are so different from Europeans. Plus 7$ is a very low price for a rat, here in Italy is very difficult to find a rat (most people find them yackie) and they cost more or less the double.

Stores only sell males because the breeders that they get them from don't want people breeding their own rats. A lot of people are irresponsible and in the show world that creates problems because rats can spread diseases easily and quickly if they are not taken care of properly. It's sad really. I like males a lot more than females anyway, so it doesn't bother me that I can't get a female. I suppose I could if I wanted to. Not only that, but there are plenty of rats that don't have homes, much like the homeless dog and cat problems that most countries have. People just don't think it's that big of a deal because they don't think of rats as pets. Prices vary depending on where you get them from too. At Petsmart, a large pet store chain, they go for about $10-$13 depending on the type. Other stores sell them for less, but they are mainly aimed at snake owners. Those ones tend to be sickly unlike ones you would find at Petsmart.
Are you interested in having a rat as a pet? You definately should. They are fantastic. You could be like the Rat Ambassador of Italy. lol

One is pinkish and fatty, she's a dumbo. Totally lovely.
The other one is a normal rat, hooded , black and white. She's more lively, and runs everywhere.
They are very lovely and smart.
I never tried a male, but I heard they smell a lot...
Plus I red that in USA somewhere they use female rats for some kind of olimpic rats games..
